I think we need to be very careful making these kind of bold claims, as it can end up sounding very silly if it turns out to be untrue. "Year of the linux desktop", "Mission accomplished", etc.
Nah, that only happens when the parent company as enough money and power to setup those kind of deals. If Reddit is doing as poorly as they claim ("3rd party apps are profitable, we aren't"), they'll never have enough money and influence to become a built in app.
I've got a couple of induction stove tops. They mostly use 2kw max, but pulse on and off to emulate lower power levels. So if you can't supply 2kw, you'll not have a good time.
