I dont consider Bezos or Zuck as "tech nerds", more MBA scum. Tech nerds give us stuff like Linux kernel and 3d printers. MBAs look for how they can exploit those gifts to exploit us.

All the small stuff is low voltage DC, but just about every appliance requires AC (ovens, dishwashers, kettles, toasters, washing machines, aircon). Running an oven on 12v DC would be insane.

What is the benefit of these containerised dev environments?
Not sure if this sink is flat bottomed, but flat bottomed sinks suck. I have 2, they dont drain properly, so they grow mold and need to be scrubbed every week. Just awful design.
