A number of reasons:

  • uses a lot of data (car data plans are often pretty low)
  • relatively slow compared to 5GHz
  • coverage, you ideally want your navigation and music to keep playing even if you go out of range

Mail in voting really needs to be the default. The information provided at the polling booth is inadequate to chose a candidate, and at home you have the entire internet to research who actually represents you best. You can spend as much time as you need to make an actually informed decision.

They can't just ask the AI?

Also, good luck collecting that payout...

That link isn't mine, and it is available and active.

Mine is https://github.com/cameroncros/PrivatePeriodTracker

But it's abandoned. Your welcome to steal anything you like from it.

Yeah, I did manage to give an old netbook away to a woman who was very excited to have it (I watched her skip down the path excitedly), and that almost made the effort of giving it away worth it.

Crowdsec does not provide DDOS protection in the same manner as Cloudflare. You can use crowdsec to block the traffic at your server, but it has already reached your server, and will be using up your ingress bandwidth regardless. So if you were DDOS'd, your site will go down.

Cloudflare prevents the traffic ever reaching your server, while allowing the legitimate traffic through. They block it on their servers, which have much higher bandwidth than any VPS provider has.

Yeah, it was how my family transitioned to digital TV. USB tuner stick + windows media center. And then MS killed it.

Does tapping it with a hammer help? Your probably right, and there is a pressure sensor getting stuck. Maybe try find it and tap it with a hammer to see if dislodges?

Hashing is completely irreversible. You cannot hash an email address and then unhash it. At most you can brute-force guess the email until the hash matches, but this is basically impossible.

Hashing the email address would break one of the main reasons to use an email address - the ability to send emails to users.

Encrypting email addresses is fine, but you wouldnt compare the encrypted data, you'd just decrypt and compare the original email address.

https://www.rancher.com/ - If you want a pure docker OS.

But really, almost all of the mainstream OS's will run docker just fine. Pick the one you are comfortable with.

It could be things like ATM machines, that have bespoke motherboards, but need to be networked, and therefore patched.
