I am buying a house because fuck landlords. I'm being kicked out of my place by 'no fault' and I've had enough of living at the whims of another money hording person being a dick.... Ok rant part over... This new house is old and a bit beat up but solid enough to start a life in. It also has a big (by my standard) garden which I have no idea what to outside of just 'plant stuff'. I don't have measurements or know the size of anything, but I want to somehow give some of my space to those who don't have any and make it a place to share. Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts?

Climbing/bouldering. As a not overly sporty nerdy type, I found this to be amazing. All the climbs are called problems and require you to think about how you're using your body to solve them.

99% of the community is amazing because it's not really a vs sports in a traditional sense. It's you vs the wall and even if you do something that is 'easy' for someone else if they can see you tried hard they will be pysched for you.

There are lots of beginner groups and meet up days or if you go on regular days, you'll end up talking to the same people about the climb you're doing so you build friendship as an adult which is difficult otherwise.

Also it's not in front of a screen which I love.

I'd try looking for your local gym and doing the intro course and seeing if it vibes with you.

What are you using it for?

I'm also from the UK. Could I ask for a recommendation and price range for your panels? I love the idea of it and know the upfront costs are high but haven't actually looked into it.

I feel like I always think of solar punk as a macro thing where a lot has to change but there are still smaller wins we can implement, what have you been doing?

I just don't understand how people can just listen to the lies again and believe it. What is wrong with my country

Man that's so cool. Imitation is the best form of flattery. This is just my finger on a phone screen but the ideas add up. Going to see what I can do with it with some more time! Thanks again

Yeah that makes sense. You can see that from your timelapse. The way you remove the sketch shows that a layer, and the way the colour blends show a layer. And the way it blends between mountains to backdrop before you remove thay sketch. It's a really cool affect! My stuff is way more layered and blocky so trying this is blowing my mind a little 🤣

That's so cool! Thank you so much

Amazing thank you!

Do you have any more detailed explaination on what that means haha! No worries if not as I understand this isn't a tutorial, just curious as I have only ever used block colour and have no idea how to go about this. I will try either way 🤣

Hey sick picture! 2 questions:

  1. Can I use it as my phone background please?
  2. What are you using to 'smudge' the colours together. I'm a new artists and want to try replicating that colour style coz it looks really cool

I had the plugin on my browser but found I wasn't reading big chunks of text on there and it felt clunky. That was like 10 years ago though. I might try again and maybe get an eReader to see if that helps. Thanks!

Because it already takes me so much time and I feel so 'behind' on books, I have a weird mental block to going back instead or instead of reading new things. I do now see what people collect books though 😂

Aa book a year seems completely insane to me! I won't get to that level but in also 'worried' about the intentionally of reading. I don't want it to just become another source of consumption for the sake of it. While I agree some books will be and that it's better social media, I want to ve intentional with it.

Glad you're coming out the other side of it!

Do any of these app have questions or things you like about them more or is it more of the design of the app? I was thinking of more analog ways of recording to help with my memory

So I have 'just started reading'. After a lifetime of being dyslexic and thinking I disliked books, I've realised that if I find something in my wheel house and with a little perseverance of getting over the inital hump, I'm really enjoying it. However a few months after reading a book, I've kind of forgotten the finer points and details I enjoyed. Does anyone write up books they've read and what tips have you got/do you have any templates?
