Pen names have been in use for ages. Dr. Seuss and Mark Twain for example.
The transphobic argument isn't that you'd be gay for dating someone who used to be a dude, in their view you're currently dating someone who still is a dude.
These kinds of imaginary clapbacks are fun but usually end up fairly unconvincing to (transphobic) people.
There's something about that meme that just works better in low resolution.
Lovecraft was horrifically racist. Which is a big inspiration for his writings actually. There's a reason he writes horror about "strange beings nobody quite understands". He was massively scared of the unknown himself, like people with a non-white skintone or who speak in "strange tongues" that aren't English.
IIRC he wasn't really a proponent of racism through a white-supremacy lens. He just feared any culture that wasn't his own. The books are quite an interesting read if you know this btw, it explains why he chose the way he describes the eldritch horrors.
Also he named a cat Niggerman. So take that as you will.
The reason for that is that surgeons are rated based on their success percentages meaning they'll recommend against risky surgeries.
The upside of this is that surgeons aren't operating willy-nilly on people and will make a proper risk assessment. The downside is that overweight people have an inherently higher risk of complications from surgery, so some surgeons will pass.
It's not because they think these people don't need it, it's because they think it's too risky. They're usually not wrong about that, you just need to find a surgeon willing to take the risk or, if possible, reduce the risk by losing weight.
It's even funnier the second time.
No, his position has always been that the US could send migrants back, but it had to be done humanely. Petro objected to the military transports with underfed and cuffed people in it (same thing Brazil is complaining about). It's also why he sent the presidential plane to pick up migrants in a humane way instead.
After that Trump threw his hissy-fit and threatened tarriffs, Colombia reiterated that it only needs people to be taken care of properly and treated like people, and the US caved to those (imo very reasonable) demands.
Ofc Trump bullshits his way through what should normally be a political humiliation, but here we are.
A very bizarre rise in the polls indeed. A mere two weeks ago he was polling at barely 2%, in the exit poll he came third and instead he's first. People expected Simion to be the far-right candidate but he was well off.
Ciolacu still has the best cards, ahead in every poll in 1v1 matchups (and his lead mostly grew over time). But as far as I can tell there hasn't even been a poll of just Ciolacu vs Georgescu, because nobody expected him to get remotely close to qualifying for the second round.
Hopefully Ciolacu manages to win regardless.
EDIT: Lasconi is the second candidate, she beat Ciolacu by just 2700 votes. She is also pro-EU and pro-Ukraine, so foreign policy-wise they're not much different it seems. Good luck Lasconi!
Techwise it probably doesn't, but then there's marketeers, sales, accountants, legal, etc...
Apparently she received some funding that was traced back to Russia and is effectively acting as a spoiler candidate.
They actively call my family members "pedophiles" for being gay. I don't like it when they make sweeping generalisations and call my family evil.
So forgive me for thinking you're a reprehensible person if you support a person as vile as Trump. He started the mudslinging, not us.

I generally don't condone violence, and I would have preferred it if the crowd had simply ignored this tosser to deny him the platform he craves, but the details of this story make it too fucking funny.
