Shift-Del to delete files is usually much faster, though obviously this skips the recycle bin.
I know people like to joke this, but there's plenty of "I use distro X because it works well with Nvidia gpus", "I had to use XYZ to make the drivers for my steering wheel work" and "I use software XYZ which doesn't quite work (fast enough) through Wine/Proton".
Windows entire shtick is that due to its market dominance, companies will make sure their product works with Windows, hence it's a very plug-and-play OS.
Sure, Windows does shit users don't always want or like. But it doesn't generally outright break things these days. And if it does, the instructions online on how to fix it are generally a bit easier to follow than those for Linux.
Linux being a bit harder to set up isn't really Linux' fault. And these days the chance that your distro outright works without tweaks is fairly high. But it's not at the same level as Windows is yet.
I think the point was that "biological sex" is a legal term, not a biological one. Hence the application of the law here, irregardless of what this kid's actual situation is. It's a demonstration of why this law is stupid, and what stupid things a school board has to do to remain compliant.
They're almost certainly not grouping the kid with the girls out of spite, but to avoid being liable for not doing so if someone were to find out this kid is, according to the law, "biologically female". The school has to protect itself from this liability, and thus we get this extreme example of the law being stupid.
I'm fairly certain it's easier in Croatia than in most countries.
To be fair, a lot of people reject military service, unless their country is attacked. Opinions tend to shift at that point.
Sepa Direct Debits work in basically every SWIFT-connected country too, so that's most of the world.

What did he mean by this?
I mean, inflation is mostly down (still high compared to other nations but it's not monstrous anymore). The big issue is that poverty rates have skyrocketed. The big question is how he is going to address that (if at all).
It's a bit more like stepping on the road in front of a vehicle that isn't moving, and then hitting the gas pedal and claiming "shouldn't have stepped on the road!". It's not wrong, but choosing this method to deal with it is simply not necessary.
If a child steals something, is keeping them at gunpoint a proportionate response? Sure, kid shouldn't steal and just holding someone at gunpoint won't kill them, but it's also an unnecessary risk.
The Netherlands would invoke article 5 of NATO in that case. I don't think such an action would end well at all.
I noticed my capability to keep my attention on a single subject dramatically increased after Reddit shit the bed and killed 3rd party apps, making me effectively quit social media for a month or two.
I should also really drop Lemmy as well, as much as it is fun it is constantly nagging my brain for attention. It's better than Reddit imo, but short-form content really does make you less able to keep your mind focused. After all, a distraction is just a couple taps away...

But right would also be wrong, because the torso is elongated instead of the neck.
I suppose a giraffe centaur would be considerably shorter than either of these images suggest.
