Doubtful. Librewolf still uses Firefox as base.

The Nedelin disaster claimed more lives than NASA did over its entire existence.

So this is the application form:

Mamdani was born in Uganda to a Ugandan father and an Indian (Gujarati) mother. Which box would you tick?

Mamdani opted to tick "Black/African American" as well as "Asian", and at the "Other" box wrote "Ugandan".

I personally fail to see the problem. Given the constraints of these boxes, this seems to be the most accurate way of describing his ethnicity? Am I missing something here? Why is NYT presenting this as an issue at all?

Trump saying he's white despite him being orange seems like a bigger discrepancy.

Centrists lost to Trump, the objectively worst candidate for president.

Sanders received a loud applause from a Fox News town hall. I'm not so sure he'd have lost.

When voters have chosen the option furthest to the right it is stupid to think that running a candidate further left would do anything but lose.

Trying to do right-wing policy "better" than the right-wing candidate has consistently lost elections to far-right candidates. All it does is validate the far-right candidate's positions, and they'll always be considered "stronger" on those positions

People primarily vote for change, and that's exactly what the centrists haven't been able to offer. It's why Biden lost, it's why Harris lost, it's why Clinton lost.

Valve didn't decide to pull it, and the game is still downloadable if you purchased it before.

I was so certain the link would lead to the website of the British Museum.

There are a lot of bugs that crash the game. It's barely functional for most. Just look at the Steam reviews.

These games were free before, and with a community patch were still playable. This rerelease somehow got a worse patch than the community patch and costs 40 bucks.

Sure, but even Epic exclusives aren't any cheaper than the games on Steam. These savings directly go to the game developer/publisher, not the consumer. This means there's no incentive for the consumer to switch to Epic other than exclusive games, which is a pretty poor reason to switch away from a well-established platform.

Interesting theory, but can you back it up with any credible evidence? Because amongst priests, approx 4% appears to commit child abuse. This compares to 5-7% for public school teachers for example (source: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/do-the-right-thing/201808/separating-facts-about-clergy-abuse-fiction). It seems the priesthood doesn't really attract more pedophiles than other jobs do (surveys suggest approx. 5% of the population is a pedophile).

Perhaps their offense rate is higher given the opportunities they have, but I can't quickly find good statistics on that.

Doesn't matter. Lemmy instances are technically "entities" so the law applies to them. You don't have to be a business, just "anything that processes EU citizen's personal data".

Hamas has 240 hostages, which is a lot of leverage to have.
