Loads fine for me. It's someone sitting in front of a desk with 15 large monitors surrounding them in a semicircle, 3 monitors stacked on top of one another in 5 columns.

There's also the idea that since the system "works" it shouldn't be changed. IIRC Le Guin did some stories on a place called Omelas that explored a similar idea: there's this utopian city, but they chuck a child down a hole to suffer there, which for some arcane reasons is deemed as necessary. Once people learn of this, they either accept it as indeed necessary or (rarely) leave.

A utopia only works if everyone thinks of the same thing as being a utopian society, which people generally just don't.

Eh, I quite enjoyed the first game, and at least it seems Mojang has some plans for the portal at least. I wouldn't be surprised if some variant of what's going to be in Dungeons II will be added to the main game down the line.

I suggest you look at someone else for reviews because this review is both inaccurate and somehow also blindingly stupid.

Just hold it in until one becomes available? How is this such a problem, I've never encountered in my entire life.

The form required for deadlifts basically requires you to stand up straight. It's actually helped me personally to get a better standing form.

Definitely have someone explain and help you with your form though. It can be hard to tell for an inexperienced person if their form is good, and bad form is risky when deadlifting.

The weight doesn't even have to be that high, it's all about learning the proper form, which helps you realize a better posture.

Deny, Defend, Depose, Decompose also has a nice ring to it.

Unlikely. In the age of globalism, it's much more likely that manufacturing will leave the US to dodge counter-tariffs. The combined markets of Europe and Asia is for most products larger than the US market, and that trend is only likely to increase in the future as Asia develops. Manufacturers know making stuff in Asia is just cheaper, and that American consumers are more likely to go into debt to buy stuff than other consumers. They also know that these tariffs are unlikely to last for long, because if the US takes the expected economic hit here then it becomes less likely that Trump/the GOP remains in control (eg midterms flip control back to the democrats).

Not much reason to move factories to the US, which is wildly expensive, when taking the hit and waiting it out is ultimately most likely cheaper.

Women ended up not really voting for her either. She got worse results than Clinton did with women.

What the fuck are these pedophiles up to?

[-] ChairmanMeow@programming.dev 5 points 2 years ago

Yes, I honestly dread to think what Trump would have done.

Lessor of two evils sucks balls, but you can still minimise the damage at least.

Hitler was not really irreligious. Some historians claim he remained a Christian, despite disliking the church. Others claim he was not a Christian in the traditional sense of the word, but did keep some level of reverence for Jesus.

The most commonly held belief it seems is that Hitler was a deist, believing in some god that would protect the German people, though not necessarily the Judeo-Christian god. He did however remain a member of the Catholic church until his suicide.

Regardless of his own beliefs, he did use religion as a tool to further his genocidal plans.
