It's one of those movies that's just genuinely fun to watch, without any major problems that take the fun out of it. Really solid watch, I do recommend it.

To be fair there's several 'types' of Chess, like Bullet, Blitz, Rapid, etc..., and it's not uncommon for high-level players to specialize in some of them. But given that they didn't know what a GM is they probably didn't know that either.

Rossman doesn't work for FUTO anymore. FUTO has done some weird shit and Rossman has made some missteps in the past, but at least for him his heart seems to be in the right place. I don't think it's in his nature to want to screw you over so to speak.

I'm not so sure it does. China is openly arguing against Trumps logic here, and the US just did demonstrate their military is still highly effective. The US seventh fleet hasn't moved away from Taiwan, and Trump is clearly signalling he intends to keep China down.

I'd argue Xi is not happy Trump decided to actually do something like this, because it increased the risk of his plans with Taiwan as well now that the US is openly hostile and MAGA cheers it on.

China needed him to keep up the whole peace pretense and for MAGA to stay on board with that. Now that that's gone, Trump has cleared the way for more military intervention.

They used more than 10000 rounds and ultimately dropped bombs on the neighborhood. That's excessive force and therefore no longer a lawful homicide.

I remember a project where someone booted Linux off of Google Drive. Cursed on many levels.

For the downvoters: regardless of your opinions on the US, the CIA, North Korea, etc..., RFA has been a historically unreliable source when it comes to reporting on countries like North Korea. The reporting is often sensationalised, unclearly sourced and because of that often later disproven (often by North Korean defectors).

That doesn't necessarily mean that this news item is incorrect, fabricated or otherwise false, but given that RFA is an unreliable source and there are no other outlets reporting on this without deferring to RFA as their source, I'd take this with a grain of salt.

It's slightly cheaper for developers to put their games on there. But that sucks as a business model, because game prices aren't any lower so for the end user it doesn't matter. And on features, Epic just loses every matchup against Steam.

As CEO he is ultimately responsible for his platform. So yes, in the end it's his responsibility. It's why he gets paid the big bucks.

I got a reminder email from them, stating that if you didn't want to join I needn't worry; this would be the last email they'd send about it.

They then sent a DM from u/reddit to my account, meaning I got another email about it.

Even something as simple as that they can't get right.
