Yeah, Wired still has some good stories, but I don't even bother trying with their site. I open it, grab a clean link and go straight to the archive to actually read it. I guess I could think about paying for it since I tend to like their content.

They've voted for it every single time they've voted for a Republican or most Democrats since at least the 1950s or 60s.
Also don't forget that the second highest (at the time) number of Americans in history voted for it another time in 2020. Fortunately the highest ever number voted for the other guy (who also didn't want to fix the problem, but at least didn't want this!).

To be fair, if you start regularly showering and keep up with the same amount of cologne, the cologne will become the problem. As it is, the cologne is a problem, along with at least one or two other more serious problems.

I'm not actually blaming voters, though I can see how I came off that way (I do, however blame the ones who voted for Trump anytime after 2016 - people make mistakes). They haven't had much choice, where health care is concerned. The probably falls under the "both sides" argument in that neither party is willing to phase out, or significantly reduce, private health insurance in this country. For sure, there are a handful of Dems, and the odd unicorn Rep, who understand that single-payer is likely to be more cost effective at delivering consistent care. It also doesn't help that the Republicans have gone off the deep end in the past couple decades. Makes it unlikely that anything will change in my lifetime. One of the main reasons I don't plan on staying after retirement.
