Our retinas are linked up to the portion of the brain that deals with circadian cycles. We evolved to feel more wakeful upon exposure to blue light because that's the color of the sky at midday. Our brains associate red light with sunset, a time where humans have adapted to feel sleepy as opposed to wakeful.

If humans instead evolved on Mars, assuming the lack of an atmosphere and magnetosphere was not an issue, this would be the opposite! Martians would feel more awake on exposure to warmer colored light and sleepy on exposure to blue light, since on Mars, the sunsets are blue!

Silly aliens, they don't know how to make their interdimensional portal technology resist these dreaded "mesh bags"... Yet! 👽

Futurama. Since the revival the episodes have been pretty hit and miss, but I really enjoyed the latest episode!

Wow, that was an actual subreddit? This is new information to me. My goodness... I don't get why some people hate people because they're overweight. It literally does not affect them in the slightest what someone looks like, and people can be overweight for a variety of reasons. We should love eachother, not hate for the pettiest of reasons.

Washing machines double as portals to another dimension which is populated by sock loving aliens who want to save the cost of manufacturing their own socks. When socks go missing in the washing machine, the aliens end up getting free and clean ones. The next time you see someone who claims to make washing machines, check if they have an otherworldly affinity for socks.

My computer. It was the most expensive one in the store when I bought it, and besides a not so great wi-fi adapter and ageing HDD's, this computer's been amazing for gaming sessions! The only physical console I've touched in years has been the Nintendo Switch due to the exclusives.

You know the old Simpsons episodes had amazing writing when you can remember a scene perfectly by just seeing a screenshot.

The others have given great responses, but I thought I should mention that having a lifestraw could save your life. It filters the water as you're using it, and it has saved lives in similar situations!

I've had every vaccine available including the one for meningococcal serogroup B, and I happen to know someone whose parents refused to vaccinate them for anything. We both lived in the same area and had the same level of social interaction.

My friend now suffers from chronic severe asthma due to a pertussis infection, in addition to cognitive impairment and deafness brought on by a meningococcal infection a couple of years after the pertussis infection. They've also had a bad case of influenza several times and they have had COVID-19 in recent years.

As others have stated, families shouldn't be put at risk just because some people refuse to understand science.

I would say more drawing, but I've been hooked on GTA V to the point I go to draw but a few seconds later I click out of SAI and boot up GTA V instead... 😂 it's Palworld all over again!!
