I live in Edmonton and love the city. However, I am also a white cis male and have the easiest time navigating a sometimes awkward culture. Edmonton tends to be very liberal, especially as compared to rural Alberta. We have a strong arts culture and parts of the city are very welcoming to people of all walks. If you choose Edmonton, I highly recommend the Whyte Ave area. This is where the largest population of people who are queer live. You will find support for transitioning on a social basis in this area. My wife's best friend is gay and lives in Calgary; he feels supported thereas well. Whatever you choose, I wish you the best of luck.

Aren't humans commonly referred to as Earthlings? I do respect the point you are making, especially with reference to the Star Trek species.

Crown land is land owned by the government of a commonwealth country. In Canada, federally owned and provincially owned land is referred to as crown land.

I'm an electrician and all I can think of is what kind of drugs led to that asinine lighting configuration.

This photo is fake. It is likely AI slop. The story is still true though and there are real photos. His, the wrester's, name is Adrian Street.
