What's your goal with switching languages? You need to figure out what business requirements are fulfilled more effectively given that technical change before making that change. I mostly say this because I don't hear a clear reason for the switch in your post.

For the rust ecosystem in general, reading through the cargo help output to see what tooling is there is a great start. You can see what functionality is already baked into the native language tooling, which should guide you on the right path. Off the top of my head, theres ways to test and lint your code already built in. Best practices are usually crate dependent, especially when working with something (I think) is macro heavy like dioxus(I don't do a lot of UI in rust). Make sure to go through the provided dioxus code examples because those will probably cover most use cases you'll be going for.

I really like this approach. The only problem I see with this is that the measure of center you're using for the calculation would have to be chosen well. Maybe a weighted average towards lower incomes or using a median, but properly choosing the measure of center would be really important along with verifying that a linear increase or decrease in percentage is also the best solution.

I think figuring out the rate at which taxation should increase relative to ones income should be the first step, then mapping that onto a set of equations that could calculate taxes would be the best approach.

In LMMS you can import samples and it has VST support, so it is a pretty featured DAW

I understand the need for entertainment. I just think the current value of watching live sports is little to none. In the NFL's case, why would you buy a cable subscription to watch a program that's only 11% the actual game I want to watch(source: trust me bro). That's like asking if someone would want to watch a show that's 90% filler.

I've been using RiMusic

I think I actually learned the word عبادة from transliteration now that you mention it. Thanks for pointing that out!

May he rest in peace

I thought this was going to refer to a fur dracula on first read.

What was the downgrade in usability you saw? I used to be an avid chrome user turned Firefox, but I would say the opposite.

One of the reasons i started learning rust was bc of how easy it is to get into it, or at least that's how it felt for me. It wasn't until a few months into consistently writing that I started to encounter things that I didn't understand.
