The missing piece here is that people have issues to troubleshoot with windows all the time. The narrative that windows has no problems and Linux does is dishonest from the start.

You're absolutely correct that the angle approach that statement is bullshit. There is also that they want to think making software is not highly complex creative work but somehow is just working an assembly line and the software devs are gatekeepers that don't deserve respect.

All of that is true, with the backdrop that while we do need to have some children, we probably actually need fewer humans on the planet. The fact that society is structured so that we need to keep increasing the population is a problem that we need to admit exists and solve, but we aren't because that also involves examining if capitalism in its current form is really the best way to run society and the billionaires have a vested interest in making sure the general populace doesn't realize that it is not.

Why shouldn't someone that felt betrayed by a politician write about their experience? Why shouldn't people learn about these perspectives?
