The result of these laws isn't protecting children. It is deanonymizing the internet and surveiling the population for governments that worldwide are trending authoritarian.
To paraphrase, "I'm seeing negative effects from using LLMs. For some reason I apparently think simply not using the tool producing negative effects is an option so I'm going to make a bunch of rules that amount to balancing out any supposed productivity gains with more human work and invest in even more slop tools"
Insane
In HTML, which things are attributes and which things are tags are part of the spec. With XML that is being used for something arbitrary, someone is making the choice every time. They might have a different opinion than you do, or even the same opinion, but make different judgments on occasion. In JSON, there are fewer choices, so fewer chances for people to be surprised by other people's choices.

Yeah other than gog and itch every other platform is terrible. Epic gives a bigger share to devs and gives away a lot of free games, but they're a publicly traded company trying to buy their way into the market so they can enshittify.
Basically, there isn't a moat around pc game stores, but competitors aren't even trying to be as nice as steam, and many publishers don't publish to the best alternative because they want to use DRM (gog)
- Show me in their platform where it says that. https://democrats.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/2024-Democratic-Party-Platform.pdf
- Show me in their platform where it says they still support that. Show me any recent serious party wide efforts. Show me in kamala harris' 2024 platform.
- You don't have to pass constitutional amendments to pass laws. They could introduce bills even if they don't pass and campaign on them.
They do the bare minimum to trick people like you into thinking they give a single fuck about you. I'm sorry, but that don't. The Democrat party is owned by wealthy interests that unlike the Republicans are smart enough to give the working class enough crumbs to keep society from collapsing, but that's not enough to energize people to vote anymore because life just keeps getting harder and harder for the average American even when they're in charge.
All that isn't to say that people shouldn't vote for a corporate dem when it's that or a republican, but you're completely blind if you can't see that there are real problems with the party that are contributing to their losses.
They aren't against violence. They just want a monopoly on it.
What about the trend of Firefox being the only alternative entity to the massive public corporations that definitely don't have your best interests at heart that actually has the resources to develop and maintain a modern browser? Everytime Firefox posts anything you have people running around screaming that the sky is falling, and while they have made some missteps,
I don't see how local LLM models that you don't have to use is something to panic about, and I don't see how throwing the baby out with the bathwater is supposed to make the webbrowser landscape better. In fact, it would be giving all of the cards to Google.
To the first part, I agree. A skilled developer who can quickly separate the wheat from the chaff can get a boost out of AI.
It takes less time to just write code than to babysit an artificial dumbass.
Find myself wondering if the quality of the remaining questions is higher. There definitely has airways been some of the gate keeping that people complain about, but a lot of it has also legitimately been people upset that they get redirected upon asking low quality or duplicate questions.

Yes it is. Anthropomorphizing LLMs is stupid but that's not what is happening here...
