Macos is a real unix based OS. (As opposed to unix compatible GNU “Gnu is Not Unix”)
I've seen so many people say this over the years, and I'm still not sure why i should give a flying fuck. Additionally, when I worked on low level cross platform software, macos was the one that was missing posix functionally I had to replace by writing shims in objective c
I'll probably get a steam frame as my first VR set. I tried out the Samsung one where you put your phone in it ages ago and thought "at some point this will be mature enough I want one". That point probably would have happened already, but I had 0 interest in being forced into Facebook ecosystem.

The benefit over fsync is that it'll be more correct. Fsync works for the majority of games, but there are programs that will be fixed by using ntsync instead
Did they ever sort out the GC vs nonGC standard library kerfuffle? I was interested in dlang quite awhile ago but the ecosystem seemed fractured (and not big enough for that to be ok)
