Last week, about 160 of them volunteered to extend their deployment until the end of the year while the others returned to West Virginia just over a week ago.

I wouldn't necessarily agree it needs to be rewritten. Hiring programmers that are willing to work in cobol would certainly be harder than other languages though, because you'll have a much smaller candidate pool and people would be unlikely to see learning cobol as a good career investment

It's not that they want more features - it's that in micro for instance copy is ctrl+c which everyone already knows, where in nano it's different
