wasn’t really thinking about it, because all I did was launch the games I wanted to play.
It getting increasingly belligerent trying to get me to switch to a Microsoft account over the last decade was by itself enough to make me furious.
You're not even trying to understand what I'm saying if you think that deciding if this particular game is the hill to die on is what I care about. I don't give a shit about this particular game. I care about maintaining the principles of not letting moralists dictate what art and media is appropriate for everyone else.

As usual it's the consumer's fault for not replacing functioning devices/generating unnecessary ewaste instead of the greedy companies that provide egregiously short support windows.
I would be surprised of that was the case. Valve said they wouldn't release another one until there was a generational improvement and I don't think we're there.
I think it's an important distinction.
