You don't. People either understand most people worldwide are disenfranchised or think every citizen of certain countries should be shot. You will not change the opinions of the latter.

technology is incredibly useful and probably beneficial to society

For what? It's not reliable enough to actually automate anything and people that use it regularly inevitably stop checking the output and start falling victim to hallucinations. It's pretty good at rifling through social media posts which I don't think is good for society and it's OK as a frontline support system but even that they normally go too far and just make it infuriating

People shouldn't use google pay in the first place. All of these things being tied together by the same group is a problem in and of itself.

I don't use retro achievements because games are supposed to be fun rather than about checking boxes.

Last week, a federal judge ordered an end to the deployment but also put her order on hold for 21 days to allow the Trump administration time to either remove the troops or appeal the decision.

Perhaps if these judges would make the intermediary status the historically normal one instead of the fascist dictator one, this kind of thing could be avoided.

Anytime I've ever complained about lootboxes/gacha/gambling mechanics, I've not been excluding valve. That said, there is a contingent of people that likes to chime in to conversations about steam to say people shouldn't use steam because valve does lootboxes, and I don't think it's terribly relevant in those conversations.

I understand it's not necessarily meant as an offense to any applicable person by the person saying/wearing it, but it is nevertheless perpetuating the social problem of shaming people for characteristics they have no control over.

It's funny because it's the same ads from the first wave of voice assistants. This AI stuff sure is revolutionary eh

I'm tired of AI slop in my feed so I guess we're even

Earlier this year, the CEO of Anthropic Dario Amodei predicted that more software jobs will soon go by the wayside. By September, he said AI will be writing 90% of the code; moreover, “in 12 months, we may be in a world where AI is writing essentially all of the code,” he tells the Council on Foreign Relations.

Sure, Jan

This is drawing lines between the job market and AI that probably aren't there. We're just in the beginning of an economic downturn.
