I feel this way about all open world/map slop. I liked the first couple i played but after the novelty wears off it's an entire genre that sacrifices focus for a lot of lower quality content

As if any @firefox fork, including @librewolf, has the ability to even maintain the Gecko engine - let’s all switch to forks or Chromium and see the dying days of adblock.

I'm addition to that, mozilla participates in the standards committees. It is important that they do, and I'm not aware of a single entity that could substitute for them.

Mandating thing like this by law is bad. But having a standard on its own is not.

I agree with this. Here's where it gets weird. All these bills stem from meta lobbying. Why do they regulation in this specific thing when they're totally capable of forming a standard committee or something with Microsoft and Google?

More like you're peddling pseudointellectual slop. Drawing a conclusion from a single conversation that a point is being proven is silly, for one thing.

But you also have refused to admit you're making a point even when prompted directly. The logical conclusion of saying "nothing will change the outcome" is "don't try". And of course we aren't changing each others minds in this short conversation. I have deep seated beliefs that the common people can effect change, if only enough of them could wake up, and that part of the puzzle is the manufactured consent framework, as I mentioned - and you denied - then walked back partially with some drivel about human nature.

Meanwhile you don't seem to stand for anything, except maybe "trying is pointless". Everyone knows positive change is an uphill battle. You're not telling anyone anything new.

Yup. ALL single use plastics except maybe for medical need to go. I take my own containers to restaurants for leftovers and people act like I have 2 heads

Maybe you can link them directly so I don't have to sift through your shitty blog? At a glance, if your argument is that we should also have initiatives to increase the health of everybody, than I agree, and don't need some smug asshole putting words in my mouth.

Regenerative meat refers to the farming processes. It is animal meat. Number is upvotes is the number of people who randomly (incorrectly) decided what the term means without even opening the article

I think acknowledging that there may be things we don't know and if you're trying not to be tracked not carrying a phone is probably smart makes sense. The people making these sweeping assertions about how phones work in general with no evidence not so much.

My systems work fine how they are and I've used Linux for years without ever encountering the issues they claim to solve.

AESTHETIC

Sort of alarming how many upvotes this has without anybody providing any reference at all. We have enough privacy problems to worry about without people posting unsubstantiated claims :/
