Twitter has become a toxic cesspit even before musks takeover. He just made things far worse to the point where it's basically just attempted doxing and permanent ad-hominem barrages. It's not worth any time.

Lemmy seems pretty slow. I wonder how many more people have joined here now.

Fake. First of all you would need two people: one for negative and one for positive. Second the electrical resistance of the human body is far to high. At 12V you can only barely light up an LED, let alone run a starter. Dry skin resistance can be as much as 100kR if wet it can go down to 1kR. That would mean best case scenario 12V/1000R=0.012A or 12mA. A starter needs several hundred amps to run. Therefore the voltage across your hands would drop to zero as the resistance is too high.

Also this fake trick isn't even dangerous. 12V is SELV. You'd need over 120V DC for stuff to get dangerous. Though you can already feel a slight tickle at ~50-60V DC.

Hi!

So far no issues! The rear lasted for about 8000km before the profile was too flat for my taste.

The main issue is glass shards as they often leave behind significant damage in both the mantles and the innertubes.

Hi! I've previously been posting my experiences about bicycling in Germany on occasion on the now very unpleasant site beginning with R. Now that I've abandoned that site I thought I should post my stuff on here from now on.

In this picture I am presenting you my trusty steed currently clocking in at around 14000km on its frame. Having undergone various modifications (most of them being unnecessary luxuries but neat nonetheless) I see myself pressured to finally bestow a fitting name upon this hard-working aluminium donkey.

I'm sure you can come up with a fitting name!
