I’m curious what will happen to churches once boomers go. Maybe some millennials will keep it alive, but I can’t imagine many zoomers will. At least not Christian ones. Though in my experience, white zoomers tend to be more atheist while black and Latino zoomers are genuine believers. Asian zoomers are a tossup, unless they’re Muslim in which case they tend to be believers, but the type to eat meat (non pork) without really worrying about whether it was made halal (i.e. eating burgers and chicken at fast food restaurants). Though all but the Muslim zoomers I’ve known tend to be indifferent or supportive of progressive policies

If it’s an errand, as short as possible. But if it’s like going to school or some leisurely location, at least 3 hours. If it’s work, at least 5-6 hours a day (so i can get lunch) and no more than 30 hours if part time

Do you genuinely think that an American billionaire ex president with a seething, delusional fan base, and as of august 2023, no prohibition from being elected, is not above the law? He’s not going to be spending time with gangsters and killers. He’s gonna be very protected by the state.

He’s not like Bernie Madoff or Elizabeth Holmes who screwed a ton of rich people. It’s not happening. His underlings could get sentenced though, but Trump will have some special bullshit order and he’ll be free.

That settles it. We will kill one person in a lottery every few months to placate the masses

Isn’t this just a ripoff of the magical realist story about the utopia being propped up a single boy being tortured in the basement? Or did that story come after?

I believe in the US, most people support public transportation as long as it was reliable. It’s just that propaganda here is strong and makes people think they’re alone in supporting buses and trains. Even the politicians, but usually they’re bought off already. I should get in contact with some of the transportation reps to see what advice they have

start complaining

The public transportation in my city already has a bad reputation for not finishing a previous rail project (which was desired by the residents). But at least people are angry because they didn’t get it. But at the same time, if they can’t get basic slow ass ancient trains to be built, I cannot imagine a 200 mph train and railway being built, especially since everything is privatized as fuck.

Also, this isn’t a problem with the trains, but there’s literally NOTHING at these train stops. Just factories and parking lots. You’d still need a car and possibly drive on the highway even after using the train to get to any destination

it's a good thing. One reasonable driver can force a dozen bad drivers to slow down.

95% of drivers will just pass you even if it’s illegal, and often times they’ll do that recklessly and nearly hit the incoming car on the other lane, or they’ll be scared shitless of passing and quickly go back to your lane in front of you and narrowly missing the front of your car (which you’d be held responsible for damages because it was a rear end accident). Not saying increasing the limit is a good thing, but in the US at least, people will fantasize torturing you in front of your children if you slightly inconvenience them on the road.

Mfw a disgruntled employee overrides the controls and makes someone drive 90mph in a school zone and kills a child

So, I get $10,000 for consuming content for free? What’s the downside lol

The US is too scared to even recognize Taiwan as a real country and has to do backroom deals to sell weapons and conduct meetings, and somehow Taiwan sees the US as an ally lol. Countries like Cuba and North Korea have “allies” who are strategic with their support, but at least they’re not delusional and pretending that China and Russia will swoop in and save them if anything happens.

Someone should make a satirical television show about Koreans being financially desperate and signing their life away to faceless assholes
