The remaining $10000 will only be worth 2500 in 30 years time, assuming 5% inflation per year...

They will get dirty very fast, either from dirt thrown around by passing trains, or by the brake dust.

I have yet to see an app that does something a website could not do...

I don't know, I distrust all YouTube ads content creators slide into their videos, because the products are either useless to me, disappointing in real life like the "fruit smells" rings for water bottles or sketchy with some fear mongering like the VPNs.

Fun fact: a lot of the content you see on big sites are advertorials, this means some company writes a fluff piece about how their lastest product can solve all your problems, and then pays the site to publish it. In print, you even have the option to have the ad use the same layout, fonts, colors etc. as the real content.

This means a portion of a site is not filled by content that had to be bought, but actually brings them money.

Most likely because old buildings are expensive to maintain, expensive to heat, must be refitted for modern lights or communication or have asbestos or lead pipes or don't comply with modern building standards, such as accessibility.

There is this old cinema from the 1920s in my town that went out of business in the 1990s. Nobody goes to the cinema anymore to fill the 300 seats, it's a 20min walk away from residential areas and there is no parking nearby. On top of that it needs 30 years of maintenance. Nobody has a good business plan for this building.

The CMOS battery has maybe 100mA and lasts 5 years. A laptop battery has at least 400x the capacity, it would not drain in a few days.

Had Javascript on my resume, and the recruiter send me to an interview for a Java programming job...

The other one asked me to take an online test about cryptography algorithms in node js for a prescreening interview, which is something I never even remotely had to deal with in more than 20 years working for multiple e-commerce, health systems, CMS and other services and websites. Also, no Google or any online sources allowed to solve their questions...
