They just added a model called Gemma, which is made by Google.

Their options are now some ChatGPT versions, Gemma, Mistral (from France), and Claude....

....it seems a bit coincidental that they do not have GLM or Deepseek or Kimi or Qwen's open-weight models

Depends on the instance.

lemmy.ml, dbzer0, hexbear are all ok on TOR.

lemmy.world is questionable
