Going Under got me through the pandemic. It is still my favorite game.

If you ever want a solid local multiplayer, I would recommend Boomerang Fu.

Thanks! Good to know.

The khoresht fesenjan looks tasty! I’ll give it a try.

I’m interested in going to a Persian restaurant next month. Any favorites you would recommend?

Also are there things internet strangers can do to help support Iranian people other than staying informed?

I’ve had an awful time so far this week all because I went to a well-known fish restaurant on Sunday. It is rumored that Shakira went through something similar in Peru after eating ceviche, so I suppose after 10 years here I should be used to it.

I’m not pumped about having to take antibiotics again though. Any tips that have helped y’all when you’ve got type 7? 💩

Sorry to hear that. The Nivea should be fine then :)

Edit: Thanks for the info about the URLs, they’re fixed!

I’ve read better things about [eos lotion](https://www.amazon.com/eos-Cashmere-Moisture-Lightweight-Non-Greasy or I like [honest lotion](https://www.amazon.com/Honest-Hypoallergenic-Naturally-Botanicals-Sensitive/, not because Nivea is necessarily heavily perfumed, just because of the ingredients: glycerin and alcohol being one of the first ones.

If lotion only specifies it’s perfumed, then it probably isn’t hydrating/more chance of ingrown hairs. Best of luck!

🤷‍♀️ Sounds like you’re going the right direction then, the more specific the better

—I assume the audience for the piece will be bystanders and potential allies, so just as you mentioned you don’t have a lot of info to help survivors, the information that helps you support people is most valuable (ie: strength in numbers).

This includes things like active listening and emotional validation.

Im traveling to visit my parents next month for a few weeks, unfortunately home for them is Texas. It’s been three years and I’m not exactly thrilled to go back (only happy to see them & my sibling).

I’m stuck between having a list of things we need to bring back (ie: can’t buy abroad/cheaply), wanting to eat international food that can’t be found here, and really really really not wanting to support the government. I know it’s a drop in the bucket, but everything sounds so… expensive and destructive.

Nestlé is offloading the remainder of its ice cream assets as the world’s largest food company takes a larger review of its businesses in an aggressive push to turn around sales.

The CPG’s ice cream business outside the U.S. will be sold to Froneri “in a phased way,” Nestlé CEO Philipp Navratil said during an earnings call Thursday. Froneri, a joint venture created by the Swiss company and PAI Partners, acquired Nestlé’s U.S. ice cream business for $4 billion in 2019. Navratil said its remaining ice cream holdings are “strong but small,” adding that the segment is “a distraction for us” as the company chases larger growth opportunities.

I have 8, some are pretty big pieces, and it’s been a while. I’m not sure if I would get more.

If you were to get tattooed what would it be and where?

Peru again is without a president. It’s been 7 presidents in 10 years, soon to be 9 (one temporary replacement and one election in April).

What would be different if there was no principal leader where you live? Would anything change?

It’s an ongoing debate I have with one of my students. He says English/language teachers specifically will have a hard time finding work in about 2-5 years. I disagree, especially for students who want a more conversational approach and can afford the classes.

What do y’all think?

I used to enjoy the label in school of being “weird”, but after many years of conformity it’s hard to remember what those things were.

What makes you weird/unique? Characteristics, hobbies, connections, etc I want to know!

I love this comic and it’s a reoccurring conversation. What has worked for y’all for sharing tasks, specifically at home?

I’m trying to decide between a trip to Colombia or Argentina for next year. Where would y’all like to travel if you could?

For me it’s cats 100% they are low maintenance and each of them have their own personality and they’ve been largely unchanged (ie further domesticated) for at least thousands of years. I just think they’re neat! 🐈 bee cat ears emoji

Everything just takes so much energy, work and time! Then it’s Monday again!
