The Falcon030 microbox was designed to be used either vertically or horizontally. Image source - https://www.atarimuseum.de/falcon030.htm

The funny thing is that I was looking into assembly compilers on wikipedia, which led to external reading about rmac, which then led to MiNT, which finally led to the Atari Falcon

This is probably my only gripe with digital music, it can be fucked up and you'll have no clue as to what layer is responsible for it not sounding "as it really should". Hell, you won't even know what it actually should sound like!

And players that skip the first bit of the music, as if every music began with 1 second of nothing. Learn to code so it only plays AFTER it's fully done loading, ffs

I think my first contact with them was via the mid 2000s movies, I never saw it while it aired on Brazilian TV in the 90s

To be fair, the problem is that these groups are going after people IRL, as per the article

Mr CEO will be quite perplex when nobody uses his stupid browser. Maybe he's banking on Google buying it and silently renaming it Chrome

Windows has been shit waaaaaaaaay longer than any of those. MS always "fixes" it afterwards just enough to become usable

She’s succeeded by Lidiane Jones, a former CEO of Slack, who’s looking for opportunities to use artificial intelligence in dating app algorithms.

Oh great, just what we needed, app sponsored AI bots to lure people into paying premium

Gotta love how Google has spent the last, what, 10 years?, fighting iMessage and losing due to their own short-sightedness/lack of focus and incompetence. The company that dethroned MSN Messenger couldn't win a fight against an opponent that, on a global scale, represents ~25% of the mobile market. Meanwhile, Whatsapp dominates the instant messaging world.

The rich can easily exploit the political system and lobby for favorable laws = Not only is it pay to win, the devs suck the dicks of their biggest whales

Markets don't "create wealth". People's work creates wealth. Banks don't create wealth, they create debt and allow more money to go into circulation than actually exists.

Regulation isn't only desired, it's crucial for any market economy to work, lest they devolve into corrupt, abusive monopolies and oligopolies. Granted, bad regulation can be equally abusive and real cases are plentiful.

Just as important as regulation is taxing who has more money, because generating wealth won't automagically distribute it in any ideal manner. The worst problem nowadays is just how easy it is for rich assholes to legally evade taxes no matter which country they're from.
