Not much of a backbone apparently.
I know they have gotten brighter over the years but that's not what's been the biggest issue for me. To me it's the fact these trucks keep getting taller, 3 feet ago it wasn't as bad because the lights were closer to the road, now the headlights on these trucks are damn near eye-level.
Before my life shifted more into integrations I was a fan of running:
systeminfo | find "System Boot"
I wasn't out to call anyone out, but sometimes users honestly believed they had rebooted and I would find of the the day's lucky 10k. It also helped to figure out which users would just blankly say they've done everything.
Same, its been 20 years now and even though some times were rough, going through them with my best friend by my side made it so much better!
For my son I just used APLs in group policy. Only approved apps could run. I encouraged him to be better than me and he has definitely kept me on my toes. Now he is in college for cyber security and loving it.
So far he hasn't broken anything major on his computer or the network, well, aside from messing up his BIOS a couple times... But then he got to teach me how to program EEPROM (like I said, he has kept me learning stuff I normally wouldn't).
While I do agree GitHub is a place where people collaborate, it's also a pretty handy place to store stuff without having to host your own. If the project doesn't invite people to contribute, don't expect a polite response forever. It's like stopping your neighbor on the street corner to tell them they should paint their house white for the thermal benefits, yeah people collaborate on the street, yeah you are right, it's their house though.
All those things they listed I would also consider selling my data. Even if you are offering my info in exchange for peanut butter cookies, you are trading it for something else.
I'm American and not circumcised, my wife and I chose not to circumcise our son because there really isn't anything to gain from it. In my mind it's no different than the removal of the hood from around a womans clitoris, it would cause a lot of pain and discomfort until the area is more "desensitized" by constant overstimulation. As someone that has only ever had a penis, and never a circumcised one, it's all just speculation on my part.
As much as I abhor violence, precharged pneumatic (PCP) options exist. They aren't firearms, anyone can own them, and they can come with really fun features for plinking (like full auto variants and moderators so they are whisper quiet). I say for plinking but I guess I've seen them ranging from .177 cal (think bb) all the way up to .72 cal (more like a shotgun slug).
It is a beautiful hobby but you have to remember they can be deadly, typically holding around 4,300psi in their tank. Please shoot safe if you decide to go this route (not advocating for violence, a tire iron could be a weapon too).
As long as it doesn't get too hot, or too cold... or to windy... Or wet... Come to think of it, a lot of stuff has managed to grind Texas to a halt lately.
Throw in a dash of track-me-not (https://www.trackmenot.io/) and maybe they'll start ignoring your search queries too! Worst case my actual searches are so buried in the bs deciding what to market would be easier from my screen-name.

That's the only reason I opened the comments... To be fair though, I think I'm gonna adopt that term.
