It's still more environmentally friendly than synthetics.

It's things like this that has me convinced there is all sorts of weird shit we don't know about living beneath the ocean floor.

Synthetic materials are bad for the environment while real fur is natural and won't shed micro plastics.

Doesn't matter, go fucking vote. Vote like your life depends on it; depending on your demographic that could very well not be hyperbole. Vote like it's a terrifyingly close election, because despite all the polls and the analysts, this election is still going to come down to razor thin margins. It is VERY hard to compete with the sheer fanaticism of Trump's base; a large number of them literally think he's the Messiah or that Harris is the antichrist so they feel justified in all sorts of batshit actions.

Just want to note that the 80s was when the Boomers started taking over/inheriting companies and leadership positions from the generation before them. The Greatest Generation passed the torch to the Worst Generation and things have gotten worse ever since.

Expressing the vague potential to confront a far-right Israeli government isn't going to lose her any Democratic votes

No, but it would cost her millions in donations and support from Zionist lobbies. It would also push those same lobbies to more heavily donate and support the GOP. Not to mention the millions that would be at stake from weapons manufacturing lobbies who would see any wavering on Israel support as potential to lose one of their biggest buyer. All that lost money would lead to a loss in votes.

The world is complicated and a tangled mess.

Funnily enough, a few months back someone at Hi-Rez quietly spun up a Global Agenda server. You can actually go play it with your old account if you remember the login, but there's usually only like 10 people on at a time lol.

There's money and opportunity to selling out your own people to be the token figurehead for a hateful organization. Look at Clearance Thomas. He's had a long, easy, comfortable life. Even with the recent focus on him, I find it hard to believe he or his wife give a shit when they can just go hang out on their billionaire buddies' yachts.

I stumbled across a subreddit at one point that I forgot the name of and could never find again. It was a bunch of people pushing memes to crazy right wingers on Facebook encouraging them to do things like not vote and make really poor decisions like tearing up their social security cards.

"Share the LOAD"

I'm moving across the country in a few weeks and am trying to plan my route as I'll be driving a moving van with a car towed behind it. The entire drive will be 16-17 hours.

Google maps seems limited for searching everything I'd want to take into account for the route (pull through gas stations, height requirements, avoiding mountain highways, etc.) and was wondering if anyone knew of a better way to plan out the trip?
