Thats good. The entry friction is really the most important thing when trying to get new users.
It doesn't need to be easy, it has to be nearly effortless and no unknown procedure for people to switch. E.g. writing one sentence to get an lemmy account is wayyyy to much for most people.
Thats why it is important to have an alternetive ready people can switch to. If there is a backlash (for any platform) and a decentralized alternative is there this is the biggest chance to become the "norm". So thanks to all the people working on lemmy, peertube, mastodon, etc.
He/she is right though. Torturing animals isn't "really good". If you don't see forced pregnancy with the kids taken away at birth and never beeing allowed outside as torture ... Thats on you. I do.
