Not according to latest studies, there is no safe level of processed meat consumption.

Cold cuts are often processed, rather than delivered raw.

Secondary News Article: https://www.sciencealert.com/massive-review-finds-no-safe-level-of-processed-meat-consumption

Original Study: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-025-03775-8

consuming processed meat (at 0.6–57 g d−1) was associated with at least an 11% average increase in type 2 diabetes risk and a 7% (at 0.78–55 g d−1) increase in colorectal cancer risk.

So eating a gram of processed meat per day would significantly increase chances of type 2 diabetes, and colorectal cancer.

1 gram ≃ 0.03 ounces (British imperial units)

Some moron will give you an extra point on your interview

Why would I want to work for a moron?

Too many cooks spoil the broth.

Yes, exactly. It's best to just not have your voice heard. Don't vote now, and don't protest later.

Instead they are normalized

Normalised to what? This doesn't help.

Each point on the graph is divided by the highest point, 100

There we go. So a spike could be 1 person, or millions of people.

Therapy is maintenance (at the very least). If you haven't ever been to therapy, you're driving around without an oil change.

My comprehensive survey of one person says otherwise.

You're using the New York Times to support the idea that the New York Times didn't support the war.

What do you think could be an issue with using that evidence?

Edit: I find it amusing that the article you shared is partially blocked (censored) unless I sign up to the NYT.

These sources show that the New York Times supported the war because it poorly reported the idea that Iraq had WMDs. The NYT did not do its due dilligence, intentionally mislead the public, or a mix of factors.

OOTL:

Jeremy Vine

On August 2016, a car driver threatened and was abusive to Vine while he was cycling along Hornton Street in Kensington, London. Vine captured the encounter on his helmet camera, later broadcasting it on YouTube where it was viewed several million times. Vine also reported it to the police. On 18 April 2017, the car driver was jailed for nine months for threatening behaviour. At the time of the incident, she was subject to a suspended sentence for various other offences.

Here's the video, it contains road rage so don't watch it if you have high blood pressure.
