And that's slightly better than "this happened weeks ago but we're just now getting around to updating everyone because we were trying to hide the fact that we had a leadership change".

That Porta Pro belongs to Mint. Before this scene, Mint was making out with the Commander. When Prika showed up and told her to get off the Commander, Mint handed her headphones to the Commander without changing their orientation, since she was already in front of him with their tongues locked in. She did this because she wanted him to listen to the Mint ASMR tape while making out with Prika.

Then Mustang walked in. And that's why the orientation is incorrect.

Is there anything I can do to help? It still happens on my end, sadly. :(

This appears to only happen on Piefed accounts.

When I try to view who upvoted/downvoted a post from communities I moderate, the app crashes upon clicking View votes. There are no error messages and I just get brought to the home screen on my phone.

Unfortunately, my HDD doesn't support those ports so I guess I'll just suck it up and spend the extra $20. Thanks for the help! :)

Hey there! A moderator just restored my post and you probably never got the notification for my previous comment. I was just wondering if this is the UPS you had in mind.

Thank you so much!

Here's the link from your instance: https://anarchist.nexus/post/677094

If that doesn't work, the title of the thread is "How to auto remount external HDD after power loss".

Thank you for the rule change! I had a post deleted previously and there were some pretty helpful advice in there on how to manage my HDD. Any chance you may be able to restore it so I can look at those comments again?

I'm looking for a free tool that can delete my comments and posts only from specific subreddits. I've tried the following tools, but none were able to properly finish the task:

Power Delete Suite

  • Generally works, but I think it can't see your entire Reddit history. After deleting a few hundred comments and posts, it stops deleting.
  • I tried running it again, and it deletes another hundred or so. And then a couple more until it completely stops.

ereddicator

  • Killed by Reddit's recent API changes (disabled users' ability to create new API keys)

shreddit

  • Killed by Reddit's recent API changes (disabled users' ability to create new API keys)

Redact.dev

  • Doesn't delete comments/posts. It only edits them.
  • Costs money.

Does anyone here have any other suggestions? Or alternatively, does anyone know how to retrieve the Client Secret code from an existing Reddit application? I have an existing Reddit application setup on Reddit, but don't have the Client Secret.

EDIT: Changed text formatting.

Would this be something you're talking about? It's the cheapest one I can see on Amazon here in Canada.

This is my HDD. Aren't these guys able to handle power losses since people usually plug them in to backup stuff, and then pull the plug once they're done?

And does ext4 count as a journaling file system?

I'm running a Ubuntu server on my old laptop with an external HDD connected to it. The external HDD is powered independently from the laptop, as it is plugged into the wall.

During a power outage, my laptop remains operational due to its battery, but the HDD shuts down. When power is restored, my laptop does not automatically remount the HDD, and I have to reboot the system manually to access it.

Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue?

Edit: Not sure if this added context changes anything, but this is the HDD I'm using. It's a 3.5" HDD that gets its power directly from the wall.

I've seen "Lemmy V1.0" being thrown around on the Fediverse and how it's supposed to resolve a lot of problems. I tried looking for a list of confirmed features, but I couldn't find anything. Does anyone know what is confirmed for that big update? Anything especially notable?

On PieFed, I have an image upload quota of 50 MB. When I upload an image post to a community on desktop, it doesn't count towards that quota.

But If I made the exact same image post through the app, it counts towards the 50 MB quota.

I believe it should only count towards the quota if it's uploaded as an image in the comment section or the body of a thread. Not when the image is uploaded as a post itself.

Anyone else experiencing this?
