It’s been a while but I think it’s a two-person business. Unfortunately, my one experience buying from them was quite poor and I bought elsewhere. But the site has excellent info and seems to stay up to date on the best and latest batteries for high performance use cases.

One thing to note is that the site admin (Austin) focuses on rcs racing or something. It’s a different use case than flashlights and so I found that the judgements mixed into the information aren’t quite right. Still, the information is excellent and well presented. And it’s a simple place to find “the best” batteries currently available.

I have the molicel p50b’s. They’re excellent. Just be sure that you have a charger and flashlights that handle unprotected cells!

Yea I’m not a fan of helm either. In fact, I avoid charts when possible. But kustomize is great.

I feel the same way about docker compose. If it wasn’t already obvious, I’m biased in favor of k8s. I like and prefer that interface. But that’s just preference. If you like docker compose, great!

There’s one point where I do disagree however. There are scenarios where a local k8s cluster has a good and clear purpose. If your production environment runs on k8s, then it’s best to mirror that locally as much as possible. In fact, there are many apps that even require a k8s api to run. Plus, being able to destroy and rebuild your entire k8s cluster in 30s is wonderful for local testing.

While I certainly don’t mind this game being posted, I’m not a fan of this one. It really only works if you’ve seen the show. I have not seen the show for today’s game. So I had no chance of guessing its name.

I have no idea when the last real election was. But it certainly hasn’t been in the last decade or two. Social media is too strong of a platform for propaganda. I think there are exceedingly few people now with an accurate understanding of modern political parties, affiliations, etc.

Plus, there’s waaaay too much money in politics. Votes are bought

Bitwarden uses end to end encryption. This severely reduces the risk their infra is attacked. The encryption keys exist on your devices only so it’s impossible to read the server side data.

The only real question is how much you trust Bitwarden as a company. Are they completely lying about E2EE to customers and auditors? If not, then Bitwarden is a good choice.

Sure. I can get behind that.

But do many people actually mix up the two platforms? I haven't seen it much. The devs and sys admins certainly know that there's a difference between the two. And most end users seem to know that there's a difference. But even if the end users can't identify one platform from the other, I still don't see that it matters. I'm familiar with both nginx and apache... But I also don't shout in public forums that the two tools are not the same.
