I think Tumblr is still fun! It's not as lively anymore and the staff suck, but no algorithm means you really only see stuff you choose to see and the tag blocking makes it so easy to curate your experience.

And I'll take weird unhinged ads over TikTok shop or whatever happens on Twitter any day lol

Never lol, but tbf I only ever blocked one person on Lemmy and don't see myself ever unblocking them. The way I see it, the internet is a hobby for me and life is too short to waste time on people I don't like, so I block very liberally ( ᐛ )و On Lemmy I've only run into one person I don't like, but on other sites like Tumblr I've easily blocked over 100 accounts over the years, with no intention of ever combing through the list to check if I want to unblock any

I just think it's cute lol

Not quite discovered but I recently started making popcorn at home and it's so good!! Before I only ever had popcorn at the cinema (where I don't go often anyway), but as it turns out buying corn kernels and making it myself makes for a cheap and tasty snack. Less recently, I tried eel sushi and really liked it!! Shame I only know of one restaurant that does it though
