Yes. For proof, look at when cops murder people.

AFAIK, it's there because they've made the rest of the phone so thin, but they can't make the camera components any thinner.

Incidentally I think the cameras are definitely better and I have plenty of old pictures and videos taken on Samsung flagship phones that agree. Maybe not better in every way, but low light pictures and videos have way less noise these days, and the resolution is higher (whether that actually results in a clearer picture depends).

I get it. Hit Trump's base because she's having success in moving weak Trump supporters. But anything that puts money into Fox's hands doesn't make me feel good.

I'm for the changes, but I'm skeptical about whether anything can be accomplished. If the SC changes aren't done as an amendment, they'll be subject to SC review. Getting anything past either of those bars seems nigh impossible.

Similarly, if the SC rules that presidential immunity is implied in the constitution, they could also block that without an amendment.

Maybe the plan isn't to succeed but just to establish a record that Republican lawmakers are good with a supreme executive and corrupt courts, but I sort of feel like they've all but said that aloud anyway.

ETA:

But while we're on the subject of changing things, I wonder about after an 18 year term is up, if there would be any use for a sort of Justice Emeritus who doesn't get a vote, but can write concurring/dissenting opinions and maybe serve in either an advisory or ethics review capacity. So keep the lifetime appointment with all the advantages of that, but allow for the actual sitting court to change more over time. I don't know; I haven't really fleshed out the idea because it's a pipe dream at this point.

It appears she's looking at people who could swing a purple state, so that probably won't excite anyone hoping for a progressive ticket.

I hope they don't block traffic. I don't know if any passed, but a few places were trying to make it legal to run over protestors blocking traffic. That would sure be a shame if they had to find out.

Most likely this particular guy will never live to see it done. So the particulars of this case are moot.

I changed my mind about execution some 25 years ago, and while there there have been many people executed since then that I won't defend or feel bad about dying, I still don't think it's right for the state to execute prisoners.

Same thing here. What this guy did was horrible. I wouldn't even disagree that he deserves castration. But I still feel it's not right to actually do it to anyone. It's a dichotomy I'm confronting right now. There is what the guy deserves and then there's a separate consideration of what justice I think is appropriate to mete out. And I thought those were one in the same, but it turns out they aren't.

That's fine. Give all that money to the State of New York instead of buying commercials and helping down-ballot candidates. It's been wrongly declared before but this time might actually be the end of the Republican party as we have known it. Trump should sell popcorn.

They don't. They don't even bother to rationalize. When forced to think about the bullshit they spew they just claim they haven't finished researching it and then repeat themselves despite admitting they know nothing and have no response to any evidence.

It's blatantly untrue, though. If the actors don't accept it are the studios going to just close up shop? No. So it's absolutely not the final offer unless they accept it.

What are the admins going to do? Moderate? If the moderators are approving NSFW posts, the sub is NSFW... Heck I'm not sure if they have to go that far. On r/cigars every single post is NSFW because cigars are Satan. Just do that to all the subs so every single post requires you to click to reveal the NSFW content. It'll be like NSFW roulette. Heads, it's a helpful guide to setting up a service on the cloud. Tails, it's goatse.
