These are the buildings of the different institutions of the EU (European Parliament, European Central Bank etc.) and yes they suck

I agree. Might be a good thing for aviation and other sectors without a good alternative. But additionally it will be badly inefficient. Even if the production process is good, the best diesel efficiency factor is around 40%.

Found through this post. These photos are from a huge colletion made from 1908 to 1931. Here is a site with most of these old photographs. Through many of the pictures are without people many of them are pretty liminal.
