I am in Europe. I had a lot of unpleasant experienced at metal festivals with people I can only describe as Nazi. Genres like viking metal seems to speak to those guys. Caveat: To old to go to (a lot of) festivals nowadays.
In my experience, there are always a fuckton of rightwing extremists at metal festivals...
Read an interview with a youth researcher that said, he does not see a problem with the content moderation (regarding extremism) because young people are anyway not interested in the disussions on there because its only for porn...
If he doesn't find any of this objectionable then you know exactly were he stands.
