If you don't mind the "Cute girls doing cute things" genre then maybe Endro~! or "I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level". Both are light hearted comedy fantasy series.

I don't know how to set it up, but using a sunshine server on the desktop and moonlight client on the laptop/tablet might be a solution.

Don't know that book specifically but I think that it was written by Richard Scarry.

Det er også det jeg er vokset op med, dog med brasede kartofler til. Nu hvor jeg fejre nytår med nogle venner får vi en nytårspakke fra, så vidt jeg husker, superbrugsen, men samles med mine søskene hos mine forældre nytårsdag og får så "rigtig" nytårsmad :)
