Ever go hiking? Skiing? Sit in a park? This is the same concept as some douche blasting shit on their Bluetooth speaker while you're trying to exist in the moment.

Maybe it's hard to conceive of for some, but the world shouldn't be shielded by headphones.

I get it; we're all tired. Exhausted, even. Getting up, dealing with humans, making your way through traffic, navigating social complexities, etc., all suck.

Being disconnected, unwilling or unmotivated to engage, or just out of it adds to the morass of shit. I am tired of people who don't bother to try.

To me, these people just make things more unbearable.

In case anyone in Seattle wants something to do on Christmas Eve's Eve, my band is playing a show at one of the coolest dive bars in town: The Streamline. We're lucky to have Dead Bars playing with us - they're rad as fuck. In addition, Kelsey Hoffman is a very talented vocalist, and Johan are a pair of lovely women singing devilish songs.
