lives in the unincorporated community of Coral, a part of Maple Valley Township in Michigan’s Montcalm county

I'm not going to dox him any further or anything. But holy shit is that "community" small. For those that don't know: Unincorporated means they're not legally considered a city, town, community or anything. Literally just a group of people living in the middle of nowhere, rocking the name of an old lumber camp.

A few tidbits from Maple Valley Township's Wikipedia page:

The racial makeup of the township was 97.70% White, 0.19% African American, 0.14% Native American, 0.29% Asian, 0.10% Pacific Islander, 0.29% from other races, and 1.30% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.82% of the population.

The Coral post office, with ZIP code 49322, serves most of northern Maple Valley Township, as well as portions of Pine Township to the east and Winfield Township to the north.

So... teeny-tiny "town", in a county that's 98% white and the best thing they have going for them is a Post Office and a real-deal, big-boy ZIP code. Yee-haw!

Yup, not surprised one bit that this dipshit is spewing the garbage he is. I'd be upset too if the only entertainment I had was chasing the mailman around town.

Edit: Poked around some more on Google Maps. Just want to add that they also have a volunteer fire department, 1 bar, 1 restaurant and a gas station. So someone needs to update their Wikipedia page, cause they moving up in the world.

Long time modder here, so I've been keeping up with this very closely. The owner (Dark0ne) really just handed control over to the people that were already running everything with him. The company (Black Tree Gaming Ltd.) is still exactly the same, they just have a new owner/parent company now (Chosen Something). And I'm sure he negotiated ahead of time that they're limited in how much they can interfere, because I've seen nothing on my side indicating they plan to. (There's no option for me to monetize my mods outside of donations or Patreon, for example.)

This always reminds me of the Gavin Belson Signature Box III from Silicon Valley.

Notice how the Cisco logo is just left of the button. So I like to imagine some Gavin Belson type executive demanded the logo be put there at the last minute. Probably marketing, it's always marketing.

Because they don't need one. They just send a polite email asking for everything on Person X and they get an email back with EVERYTHING that person's ever done on any of Google's services.

Problem solved. No Backdoor or Warrant needed.

Take a look, it's in a book...

"Anonymous" is a weird way to spell Ubisoft. JS.

Zoomed to the max Firefox will allow (500%). Not seeing anything other than some film grain with JPEG compression artifacts.

AI content usually starts to look more mosaic (random shapes clumped together) as you zoom, not grainy/compressed.

Anyone else wanna move to the hills and watch this dumpster fire of a country from a distance? I'll bring the marshmallows...

Fun Fact: I once worked with a team that were mapping Iran's internet infrastructure... for reasons. One of the ways we were able to zero in on the more important systems was because we kept finding these weird Cisco routers that had Telnet exposed to the open internet. All of which just so happened to share neighboring IPs (or close enough) with some pretty serious government systems. Fun times.

I'm not a CISCO tech, so I don't know the specifics beyond that. But I do remember that the Telnet connection would permanently ban any IP that failed even a single password attempt. So they had that going for them, I guess lol

A good example: their SN30 Pro has a bad bluetooth chip in it that makes Xinput support really laggy (I don't know the specifics). It's been years now, and had a few firmware updates, but there's still been no fix. It works great for everything else though, so I still keep it around.

Just a warning for anyone thinking of buying one after reading this...

I know that plastic recycling was a scam for the most part (types ~~5 & 7~~ 4 & 6 specifically). ~~But that's type 2 plastic (HDPE) which is properly recyclable in 99% of places. So that's a plus.~~

Edit: Apparently my eyes are shit and that is type 5. So no silver-lining here after all, just more dread.

Edit 2: I've been informed that types 4 & 6 (plastic bags/wraps and Styrofoam) are the bad plastics. So this is recyclable in a lot of places. Silver lining restored!
