I agree. The embargo is ridiculous.

How does forcing people to pay for the bullets put in their dead family members brains hurt the west?

I’m not for the bombing of the school. That’s beside the point. The point is that both sides manipulate the narrative. Both have double standards.

It really depends on your perspective. If you hate the regime of Iran, you focus on the slaughter of tens of thousands of unarmed protesters, forcing people to pay for the bullets that the IRGC put in their heads before being able to pick up the dead family, and bringing in radicals from other countries to help them kill protesters.

If you have an anti-West bias, you are gonna focus on sanctions, the failed interventions, and yes, the bombing of the girls school.

Neither is right because neither have the whole picture. I’m just tired of people claiming anti-West or anti-American perspectives are somehow immune to bias.

I don’t really expect leftists to show the exact amount of empathy for every crisis around the world. Most people focus on issues that matter to them. Leftists are no exception.

My problem is that many assume they are the absolute moral authority. They don’t view their preferences for issues as being biased, just like that of liberals.

Like, it was pretty clear they cared more about Palestine than immigrants. Fair enough. The problem I had was the way they reacted to those who cared more about immigrants than Palestine.

They told immigrants they were crazy for worrying about Trump. They told them “it would have been the same” under a liberal, which goes against a lot of people’s lived experience. And when all else fails, they just blame the democrats for their failures.

I would have respected Uncommitted a lot more if they admitted they took a gamble that failed. Even though I’m against protest voting, I can at least admire that they stood up for what they believed in. They simultaneously want to be trusted with all the power, and use liberals as an eternal scapegoat for any failures.

I love your username.

Yeah. I don’t like intervention. I just was taught to always center their opinions before my own wants.

I wouldn’t have chosen any of this. I just hope that somehow this turns out well for them.

I feel like a lot of people misunderstood me.

I was gonna say Ted Cruz has no legal experience. But then I looked it up and found out he actually does. Still stupid though.
