It's a simple question. Do you get better framerates out of the box, or do you need to hunt down mods? That's it.

I don't understand why it warrants hostility.

Just for curiosity's sake. I too am curious what hoops I need to jump through for 1440p60hz.

Several communities have been effectively nuked by the mods changing rules and/or setting the subs to NSFW (with actual NSFW following that move).

Unless Reddit rolls them back to what they were 2-3 weeks ago (which might be a possibility), I'm not sure if there's any going back.

Can confirm, here in Michigan. Only one ISP can run lines to a given address, because it's "bad" to have more than one service. And sharing of infrastructure is not even close to required.

Late last year I switched from 100/10Mbps Comcast ($90/mo) to 600/60Mbps TMobile ($50/mo). CGNAT sucks, but I've managed to find ways around it.

I sincerely hope T-Mobile & Verizon 5G scare the ISPs enough to make Comcast & Charter actually decide to be competitive.
