I eventually needed another reddit account. I still have a facebook one. I don't want to but I've a bunch of people who will not use another platform.

FWIW I tried catchyOS as a comparison to Bazzite and I prefer bazzite.

I told my dad I was going to play board games with friends and he spelled out B-O-R-E-D and went on a rant about how much he hates board games and that they're for losers. We haven't spoken in about five years.

I don't really have an answer, seems like a how long is a piece of string situation.

First I've heard of it, there's so many distros.

Puppy pads? Consider a one side lined picnic blanket as the whole thing will fit in the washing machine.

I was planning on buying a Fender Rumble Bass amp that was recommended, can anyone recommend another quality bass amp? Thanks.

I was a bouncer at kink and fetish clubs, nothing surprises me.

You could look to find an assistant to apply the lube.

I also needed to move one bed four inches away from the other so they weren't ankle breakingly close together.

I ordered a bit too much dirt for some garden beds I built so I stomped it down to fit it all. I had do dig it out as my veggies were struggling to penetrate. I had carrots with right angles in them.

I'm already pretty broke and throw projects I like some money here or there. Usually $10-$20 or so. Like a beer or two at the pub.

Hi,

I’m looking to get back into cycling after about a ten year break. I used to cycle everywhere but travel, injury and moving to the suburbs basically stopped me.

The main rides I’ll be doing:

36km (22mi) between my place and my girlfriends - little bit of road, mostly bike path, a little bit of gravel.

8km (5mi) to JiuJitsu class - road/pavement/path.

With at least one loaded pannier, possibly two.

I’m 110kg (~242lb) with a fairly solid build, the steel frames are appealing.

I may do a little touring, I haven’t done it before but Australia has some great off road tour options. It might just be a nice idea that I never get around to. I like camping and being alone which is what appeals about touring.

Being in Australia, I’m pretty limited on what bikes are actually available.

I was recommended the Kona Sutra LTD ($4k) (by a sales guy) but I feel that the wide tires aren’t a great choice for the commuting and it’s a bit more than I was planning to spend. I don’t mind spending more on getting the right bike for me but I’m also pretty frugal so would prefer to spend less if I can find the right bike for less.

I’ve also been considering the Marin Nicasio plus ($1.3K), Nicasio 2 ($2.2k), Surly Preamble ($2.9k), Salsa Cutthroat ($4.9k) or maybe a Bombtrack Hook ($3.6k).

Plus about $1000 for fenders, racks and a big fat lock to lock it up.

Thanks for any input.

EDIT:

Coming back to this post two months later. I bought a cheaper eBike for $1800. Upgraded a few things with stuff I had around the house. It's great. I would've struggled with a non-e-bike at my current level of fitness. Having the battery assist is great for a two hour across town cycle.

No chip and the shelters are full, if by some miracle it is yours please post what garment he was wearing when he got lost and what color leash he had on

Copying info from Imgur.

So the lead mod, RustyOwl isn't responding to messages, They haven't posted for a few weeks.

I'm having some trouble accessing mod tools from my aussie.zone account so I made this lemmy.world one. If someone could add it to the mod list for c/aitah that'd be neato.

Thanks.
