This isn't perfect philosophy post. This is closer to an exploration on the topic of governance. I think the philosophical minds of this community could contribute with the discussion.

Thanks in advance.

This is a general view on the topic. I think open-source isn't enough, we need also governance for the software we use, and create small pockets of freedom.

All feedback is welcome.

I’ll disagree with you. But I have no energy to engage in this specific topic. I recommend you to look outside and check how other people are solving this problem.

That a good point! I need to organize a post about it.

(He I go again on the hyper focus train! Tchooo tchoooo!!!)

Regarding jRPG, I managed to translate a few already, nothing professional, and my Japanese isn’t yet there (something close to an A2 hare), but the focus on the drama before the mechanics creates some difernete mind model, you focus on “what you do” instead of which “spell you have”

Ohhh you have used a “reader mode” or something similar. This is invisible ink for the crawlers that ignore my “do not scrape this page” and still crawl in it.

Im still figuring out a better way to make the invisible ink not visible on the reader mode, but yet exists for the crawler.

sorry for that.

Ohhh shoot. I’ll leave the typo. Gives character to the text :P

I wish I could make my players to go with Fabula Última!

But for then, it’s DnD, luckily for me I was able to make then use my “custom rules” that already adds some of the Fabula Ultima details on the game. Yet far from the main concepts

Why not solve the gun problem?

While the fine is just as “slap in the wrist”, nothing will change.

I did write about the evolution of D&D, and the learning from other RPGs around. I know that this isn't exactly digital game design and development. But I think it's connected enough to be valuable for the discussion.

All the comments, discussion are welcome.
Thanks in advance.

I did write in my blog regarding D&D, it's evolution and changes done, and what I think could improve the game. And learnings from other games. Maybe this is a good read for ya'll.

Feedbacks, discussion and other topics related are welcome.
Thanks in advance for the reading.

This is a very easy to miss use, but you should use yes | … for this type of action

This was a pretty awesome read. Thanks for sharing.

I kind of got your frustration, I also would love for more options in the marcher for “steam machine-like” consumer hardware, almost like a “console” version of the steam machine.

Fair point, but a more “unhinged” text also don’t bring the discussion that I want to have in the piefed/lemmy… so I need to choose for the boring, unhinged or comedic text.

My natural words goes harder on the acid and sarcastic wording, if I tone down I can get on the “comedic” flair, which in my humble view, is sightly pleasant to read.

But if the few words were enough for us to get here and start the conversation, the text already proved its worth.

Hey self-hosted folks, this is my review after playtesting my little card game table, I did wrote a few weeks about it, if you want to grab and put on your server.

This is more connected to the learnings, what went wrong and the ugly parts of it.

All comments, feedback is appreciated.

Few weeks ago I wrote about a side project that I'm using to learn, this is my reviewing what I missed on the project, the main issues after a few dozen games in the platform with friends. And what I learned in the process.

All comments, feedback is appreciated.

I've wrote about the first few weeks of my hobby project. It's a self-hosted, agnostic cardgame. I've the release on this post (if you want to read about), I'll keep improving, refactoring and generating more information.

All comments, feedback is appreciated.

I've rewrote the post to be "more pleasant" to read. Sorry for the unhinged original post.

I've a devlog on the card game thing I'm working on. This is a side project, a thing that I'm using for learning and practing some of the stuff from the AI perspective.

This is my discovery and other things, all feedback, ideas and concepts are welcome on the perspective of the software and programming.

Thanks in advance

This is my idea, pick something like the FreeBeeGee and make it for Card Games. This is the devlop with some high level concept.

Feedback is welcome. Playtest too. I'll be using this with my friends (reason for why I'm building this). I'll be fixing for the stuff that I need, but if there is some screaming bug, I would fix it.

Thanks for the reading, and any feedback.

I've building this for few weeks, this is a agnostic card game table so I can play with my friends games like Uno, Pokemon and such. The idea is to pick a deck and play the game. This the base line. Everything is customized, and most of the stuff needs to be done by it's users.

This is the dev log, and there is links for the places in case you need.
Feedback is always welcome. Thanks for readin.

Last time I discussed something more technical on this community, this one is closer to that open view on the topic of how to use metaphors in the game, and how to include this in the RPG. This is closer to a personal view than a tutorial, so keep this in mind when reading.

All feedback is welcome.
