I need to watch My Cousin Vinny again. Such a good movie.
Also a lifetime Plex holder. Plex wouldn't let me watch my local content without authenticating the other day... But my internet went out and I couldn't. Decided I'd swap to Jellyfin the first chance I could (couldn't that day because no internet)... So that's what I did today. It was painless and I'm never going back to Plex.
Disclaimer, I don't need access outside of my house so I didn't set any of the remote stuff up.
Short answer, yes.
Longer answer, it's a game of patience and learning patterns. You will die... a lot. If you don't like struggling for an hour, sometimes a few hours, on the same boss, then you probably won't like the game.
It is more forgiving than Dark Souls though.
I love the game. Learning those patterns and finally defeating whatever it is you're fighting is the reward.
How far along is this? Last time I checked it out is was no where near ready.
For Marvel Rivals
LD_PRELOAD='' fixed stuttering for me (but this also disables the steam overlay so you'll need to remove it to make purchases in game)
SteamDeck=1 fixed crashes when booting the game
Haven't tried the update since I'm away from home though.
About 7 years ago... Friend and I built PC's about 6 months apart, him first, then me. Same ASUS motherboard. 2 years go by and his motherboard just dies. Few months later, mine dies. They honored the Warranty but the RMA process was awful. Little to no communication and it took a month for each of us to get refurbished motherboards back. I have not used a single ASUS product since.
Quick note... After typing this up I realized this is more a response to the OP than to you. Sorry for the rant lol.
They knew about it and implemented it but the game blew up at launch and the stupid PSN requirement caused tons of server issues. So to allow people to play they temporarily disabled it. Now, after all this, the CEO was incredibly transparent about the whole situation and was working to get it resolved with Sony.
To me the CEO is a breath of fresh air. He cares about his product and was open about everything going on.
Sony put themselves in this position.
6-7 years of development and 6 months before they drop this requirement? Which does little to nothing except inconvenience your customer... Not to mention Sonys track record with data breaches... And on top of all that the launch would have been ruined due to this requirement and possibly wouldn't have allowed the game to get as big as it is?
Fuck that and fuck Sony.
And that made it fun. I played Ark, didn't like it. I played Craftopia, wasn't a fan. But I have way too many hours in Palworld already. They took a bunch of game mechanics and executed them well together.
FWIW, I tried to like Craftopia and it didn't click, but I'm really enjoying Palworld. If you enjoy Pokemon you should be able to get your money's worth.
100% this. AC PvP would be awful for a new player using the limited early game parts/weapons. Think MMO level 50 vs level 5.
Yes an argument can be made to still allow it so people can fight their friends early... but a lot of people would just go straight into it and just be turned off to it altogether.
I think you win the thread. Glad you're still with us. Electricity scares the crap out of me.
