Probably way too late now, but if it was a proper kernel panic, it should've saved the dmesg in the kernel's pstore which saves to either ACPI or EFI storage (depending on BIOS or UEFI), which systemd then extracts to /var/lib/systemd/pstore/ on next reboot.

Your description is mildly confusing to read, could you provide a list of commands? You can check history for this.
Sometimes APT can auto install recommended packages, adding --no-install-recommends disables this temporarily.
Edit: Also you're using PopOS which is Ubuntu based, usually using Debian packages isn't an issue on Ubuntu, but sometimes it is, and something like docker should have an Ubuntu version.
While they did 'complete' their mission in 1989, I don't think we ever completely lost contact with them. They did have to disable the majority of the sensors between then and now, to preserve power, but these all these communications issues were really only fairly recent events.
Most of a QR Code is redundant data so it's still possible you can decode it, and the positioning marks are still there, but you'd probably have to remake the timing marks along the left, also idk how alignment marks work on a QR this big since some would be missing too (edit: actually only one and a half are gone).

Cloudflare Tunnels will let you proxy any port, as long as it's HTTP(S) or SSH, even on free tier.
Also I believe there's a thing now for proxying other ports anyway on free tier without tunnels, but I haven't looked too much into it.
As someone who uses anaconda, it's quite useful to know what environment I'm in, but I definitely don't have it enabled by default.
If you've got some free time and a spare computer, pihole with recursive DNS, it blocks ads and queries the root DNS servers itself (requires some extra set up though).
Other services like Quad9 are good for networks other than your home though.
