But you'll probably have to check each update and see if the "Supported Hardware IDs" match some sort of UUID in dmidecode. I'm not sure if those are supposed to match though.

Then there are some generic firmware update tools for Linux that might work, or might brick your laptop.

Also a solution: Use Wayland, it'll probably break other things, and Nvidia support is only just getting there; but it's multi monitor support is amazing, so it should fix that issue. So maybe it's worth a try?

lspci will list your PCI devices and their ID, but if it's a combo WiFi & Bluetooth card, they usually use PCIe for WiFi and USB for Bluetooth.

• I - kIll everything

Also good to know:

I'm pretty sure there's no difference between internal and external ext4 (at least how gnome disks handles it), so I think it's just trying to make sure users don't freak out when they format it as ext4 and think their data is all gone on Windows.

Also when it's grayed out you usually just have to install the fuse driver and file system tools, IIRC for exfat you install exfat-fuse and exfatprogs.

It was pretty much plug and play for me, I don't really play much but it's worked for any game I've thrown at it (although there was some artifacting in CS2). I've also done some AI stuff with it and haven't had any issues.

You can download the windows iso from windows webpage, but if I remember correctly you have to do it in Windows since it depends on a downloader program.

It only forces you to use the media creation tool on Windows, everything else it gives you a link to download the ISO.

ffmpeg can't do the actual downloading, but if you do any converting/merging with youtube-dl it will use ffmpeg to do that. However ffmpeg can stream/download from rtmp and similar, but not YouTube, it's mostly just for doing literally anything with video files (and sometimes images).
