Windows Server Core still has a window manager, just all it does show a command prompt very similar to the one in the usual Windows recovery environment.
I thought Discord gave you the option to send a message as a file now, or maybe that was desktop.
Unless you are moving gigabits of data, you won't notice the difference the smaller header payload of ipv6 offers.
IPv6 headers are usually bigger anyway^1^, so the only advantage is more efficient routing (so infinitesimally better latency), but in my experience most routers only support IPv4 hw offload and not IPv6, so it's only more efficient in theory.
I just like IPv6 because I get a whole /56 prefix to play with, and devices often randomise their host portion through the privacy extensions, meaning they use a new address each day or so.
^1^ IPv4 is usually ~20 bytes, but it can be up to 60 bytes if you stack a lot of options, IPv6 is only 40 bytes AFAIK.
If you can't get the VPS to work, alternatively there's Cloudflare but last I checked streaming was a little out of their free terms. With it, you should just have to set your AAAA record and make the cloud orange, that way Cloudflare will proxy it, and IPv4 will work. There's also Cloudflare tunnels which lets you host websites without port forwarding anything.
Wow, thanks for your work!
Now the text being slightly more the left than the right is triggering me but I can live with that. And it's a shame the sans-serif doesn't seem to be working.
Alright, so testing with iperf3 to a 10G host:
- Single Direction - 7.06 Gbps RX (2.35, 2.35, 1.25, 1.11 Gbps individually), 9.4 Gbps TX (All 2.35 Gbps)
- Bidirectionally - 8 Gbps Total, 1.538 Gbps RX & 6.55 Gbps TX (315/1220, 232/2080, 256/1520, 735/1730 Mbps individually)
4x USB NICs on the laptop, 1x Solarflare SFN5122F NIC on the desktop, there were 2 10G switches in between which may have affected the speeds slightly.
Also I can get 4.6 Gbps total (2.3/2.3) bidirectionally on one interface, so I would have expected ~16 Gbps with 4, so that's interesting I guess? My desktop can do 18.6 Gbps total (9.55/9.11) to my server so idk.
Edit: I was using 1500 MTU, I don't feel like testing again with jumbo frames.
Huh that's interesting, I believe that GPU should've been running at x8 with that CPU, but if it works then whatever I suppose.
I believe there are PCIe bandwidth benchmarks, if you really want to confirm, but I wouldn't worry.
Also it isn't uncommon for the device to just report the wrong speed, for example my Intel Arc reports running at x1, but benchmarks show otherwise.
Additionally, some (mostly electron) apps seem to need XCURSOR_PATH=/run/host/user-share/icons:/run/host/share/icons set as an environment variable for proper cursor theming.
Here's the actual HACS add-on: https://github.com/richardzone/homeassistant-dht
The one linked before looks to just be a GPIO one, not a DHT one.
Okay so for whatever reason, turning Freesync on and off a bunch of times from the OSD and then replugging works until the next reboot, so I've dumped the working EDID and I'm trying to figure out how to load it at boot (~~but I'm not having much luck~~).
For reference, the monitor is a Samsung LC24RG50.
Edit: Got the EDID loaded, KDE says it's supported, but VRRTest doesn't really seem to do anything.
Edit 2: Other games work fine.
Yep, it's definitely using DisplayPort!

What motherboard do you have?
If it's related to memory context restore, I also had to toggle 'power down enable' on my setup.
