I think the "Name" must be all lower case with no spaces. But you can use underscores to separate words. Click on the "?" just to the right of "Name," for more info.. And I could be completely wrong.
I'm sussing out Lemmy as a replacement. I still go to Reddit but I've pretty much stopped all interactions other than just reading . Reddit has now become a place to fill the blank time in my day between the times I'm busy. Hopefully Lemmy will become a replacement soon than later.
He's a loser and yet a billionaire. So former President Trump is a loser billionaire and that is why so many love that loser ... because he's rich. And if you love someone who is a proven pathological liar for how much they are monetarily worth, consider yourself a loser lover.
Loser Lover is a great name for a Country Music genre song.
This auto-updating of the timeline is a platform killer for me. Yes, I understand it's a bug and it will be fixed with a future update. However, if this bug was widely advertised as a bug and people knew it was a bug, then most people would stick around Lemmy and wait patiently. I was one click away from abandoning Lemmy before reading your post. Just saying.
I dislike "early voting." But I support any laws that make voting easier for voters.
Why do I dislike early voting? I want to make sure the candidates I want to vote for maintains their integrity and values right up to the bitter end. Sure, any candidate can fool me after the election by not being the person they said.
Also, I like the quickness and ease of voting at my precinct. It's never crowded and I can be in/out in less than 10 minutes. I always have a sample ballot marked with my choices when heading into the voting booth.
There are just too many breaking points for mail in voting. I don't want to go online to ensure my mail in ballot was accepted or even received. But mail in voting should be widely available for all citizens registered to vote, IMO.
A 14 year old working in what I assume is a restaurant seems weird to me, but if their parents agree, I can't see much harm in letting a youngster put a beer or a glass of scotch in front of the customer. Heck, at that age, I was stealing beer from my dad's supply. I think I turned out OK.
