I never saw weed as causing someone problems in their life. I would agree that life can drive some people to use drugs, but I also think that meth makes life exponentially worse.

I don't know about Canada, but in the U.S. farmers are so subsidized they don't lose money. A lot of people here still have the false illusion of the hard working small farm farmer. They don't realize how condensed farming has become.

SCOTUS has given the green light for every state to gerrymander districts as much as they can. I know the recent special elections have flipped seats, but I think it's way too early to say the Republican party is in trouble. The U.S. has a lot of racist dumb people.

It's possible to simultaneously think there are issues with the Chinese government and U.S. government.  You could mention 3 June 1989 I'm China or Epstein files in the U.S.
