It was never about paying to get smarter. The original purpose of universities/higher education is long gone. It is now about paying to be accepted by high society and indoctrinating you. As Rockefeller said, I want a nation of workers, not thinkers.

Haven't heard that name in a long time. I do remember he was popping off quickly and then vanished. Think he still makes stuff though. His Podcast parter Eddy Burback ditched him and has since gotten more popular.

I'm all for Linux adoption. However, seeing less tech-literate people feel as if they have to choose between an unsecured device and spending money they don't have on a new Windows 11 machine really makes me angry.

Most won't understand what no more security updates mean, and some overreact and get really worried.

They are watering at the mouth to see how easily China is replacing humans with robots and AI. Combined with a censorship and surveillance state, this is the dream of most oligarchs in the Western world at this moment in history.

The global push for censorship is accelerating and not nearly enough people are woke to it.

They're pushing for more and more. All the recent talk about increasing the retirement age. The idea that being a stay-at-home mother is somehow oppressive and bad, and the solution is two parents working is actually better.

How do you enforce this

I would love to go all in on one of the newer Linux distros made for phones. Haven't tried any yet.
